Research Interests
I joined the group in the summer of 2005 to expand my toolset of molecular biology techniques and to gain a better understanding of basic research skills. My current project is a collaborative effort with one of the postdoctoral fellows, Oliver, to build an extensive library of DNA fragments for use in multiplex RNase Protection Assays. This library will allow the group to further investigate genes expression programs controlled by the NF-kappaB family of transcription factors, including those that mediate cellular processes such as inflammation, cancer, and cell cycle.
